Max and Grace are best friends. But when Grace shares a secret with Max that makes her feel scared, they begin a brave journey to keep Grace safe and empowered. Together they learn about feelings, warning signs, consent, who they can trust and the power of relationships.

Grace’s Secret explores the emotional journey that children go through to tell their experiences of trauma. Sadly, not every child has a best friend called Max, instead, many are left to walk this journey alone. We hope through this book that every child can know a friend like Max and find their ‘strong voice’.
