Big Emotions - Understanding Your Emotions
 
Social emotional learning is critical for a child's development. Young readers follow the experiences of Cam the chameleon as he sets off through the woods to visit his grandmother. Along the way, he experiences a number of different emotions and changes color with each emotion. When Cam is made fun of because of the way he looks, he feels upset and turns orange. He becomes embarrassed when there's something he can't do, and he turns purple.
